What is Gesoral Oral Spray?

Gesoral Oral Spray contains the active ingredients, benzydamine hydrochloride and chlorhexidine gluconate.

It is an:

  • anti-inflammatory,
  • antibacterial,
  • antiseptic topical analgesic

that is used for the relief of minor infections and painful inflammatory conditions of the mouth and throat and helps to reduce the development of plaque.

It is suitable for adults and children over the age of 12.
Please consult with your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

What does Gesoral contain?

Ingredients:
• benzydamine hydrochloride: 22,5 mg
• chlorhexidine gluconate: 18,0 mg
• alcohol: 9, 1 % v/v
• sugar, sorbitol: 3 g/15 ml
• sweetener, sodium saccharin: 1,5 mg/15 ml
• other ingredients: colour carmoisine, flavour peppermint, glycerine, poloxamer P407, purified water

How to use Gesoral Spray?

1. Shake bottle before use.
2. Fit the spray tube (actuator) onto the pump.
3. Spray 5 to 10 sprays directly onto the painful or inflamed area and swallow gently.
Repeat every 1½ to 3 hours as necessary.

Do not use Gesoral for longer than 7 days without medical supervision. For oral administration only.
Toothpaste may contain cleaning ingredients which may be incompatible with chlorhexidine.
It’s recommended that you wait at least 30 minutes between brushing and using Gesoral Oral Spray.
